Glass is an unpredictable beast, seductive in its honey-like appearance yet stubborn and volatile in practice. My approach embraces this tension through a process of learning by play, using heat, time and instinct to explore how far the material can be pushed. Treating the studio as a playground, I test ideas without rigid outcomes in mind, allowing curiosity to guide the making. This experimental piece, created through hot casting, is the result of such open-ended exploration, where failure, surprise and intuition are all part of the
learning.
